CRANKCASE DEFLECTIONS. Herewith the results we got when we loaded a 25 HP. crankcase both vertically and horizontally, as requested by telephone today. The crankcase is five times stiffer vertically than horizontally and is two and a half times stiffer with the cylinder block fitted.
