Attention of Mr. Nichols.

Dear Mr. Nichols,

INSTRUMENT FACIA SCHEME

Confirming our discussion yesterday at your works with reference to Instrument Panel and Facia, it was agreed that you would have a sample made, which will be as near as possible to your coloured sketch, and you will contact Park Ward and get from them any templates of the body that you may require.

You idea of making an easily detachable mask for the instrument panel, to simplify servicing and assembly is excellent and, if made in metal pressings or moulded in one of the synthetic resins, it should be possible to make it a success. If, however, it is constructed of timber, there appear to be several difficulties to overcome, such as those discussed yesterday.

If, when you have gone further into the matter, you think that I can help in any way, please let me know.

Yours sincerely,
