(a) Cooling - see 'Cooling System General' below (b) Endurance - at least three fans to cover a minimum of 50,000 miles each - this can be Maintained by changing from one chassis to another if necessary. Fan not to need repacking with grease under 20000 miles. Alternatively, rig test for time + speed equivalent to 20,000 miles at 80 - 90 MPH + 10.000 miles at 50 MPH for each of three fans. Belt not to need renewing under 25000 miles equivalent. ③ Water pump. (a) Cooling - circulation to be maintained down to 300 R.P.M engine - as regards other points see 'Cooling System General' below.
