F J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} HARDY Re: Heater & Defroster for P.III. 3.DL.156. ------------------------ We are now able to send to you a print of F.CD.1193 shewing the heater mounted on the back of the dash. This was not ready when we sent the print of the screen ducts. It will be noted that the heater overlaps the scuttle framing and will have to be fitted after the body is mounted. A central position was available only by modifying the arrangements of the units on the dash and the wiring and we would prefer the simple scheme herewith if Messrs.Hoopers see no objection. We fear that the switchbox may have to be displaced sideways in order that the extension at the back may clear the heater. We shall supply the two rubber hose connections which will come off the outlet of the demister blower on the heater. After you have taken these points up with Messrs.Hoopers we would be glad to hear from you that we may go ahead and instruct the heater in the position shewn. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
