PETROL TANK SEC:7080.
FITTING OF HOBSONS' PETROL GAUGE.
We forward you herewith two Blue Prints
of the following part required when fitting Hobsons' Gauge in
accordance with their Sketch No: 460.
F.89085 Baffle Plate (Centre). 1 off, replacing F.88474.
For the purpose of this experiment,
this Baffle Plate is simply a standard Plate F.88474 with
a 4.000" Dia: Hole cut in same.
If this Gauge should become Production,
we should consider moving the corrugation clear of the hole.
For all other parts necessary to build
Petrol Tank, work to L.O.P. F.88035 with the exception that
Electric Gauge Base F.61122 should be omitted.
Hobsons' will fit a plate suitable for
their Gauge.
