EFC/AD20.11.29 contd. -3- the cut-out shunt coil, now supplied from the field fuse terminal, was originally supplied from the armature fuse terminal. On the long distribution board with incorporated green lamp switch, the relative positions were reversed and the numbering on the switchbox arranged accordingly. Although on the experimental equipment of switchbox of this type and associated short distribution board we have reversed the relative position of the fuses to suit the switchbox numbering, it is our recommendation should we adopt as Phantom II standard the switchbox with extended armature contact, to retain the original relative position of armature and field fuses and alter the switchbox numbering accordingly.
