Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 4th inst. and note that the 'L' section rings were finished on the outside diameter and sides after counterboring to form 'L' section. In view of this we are instructing our Order Office to pass an official Order for the following rings. 72 EW.1536 in Ordinary single cast material. 72 EW.1536 in High Phosphorus-molybdenum material. 72 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}471 in Ordinary single cast-material. 72 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}471 in High Phosphorus Molybdenum material. The Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}471 rings to be produced from finished EW.1536 rings. We should be pleased if you could let us have these rings with the least possible delay, as we wish to get them on our standardisation test as early as possible.
