For the attention of Mr. Martin-Hurst.

Dear Sirs,

We are at last despatching 2 sets of parts for our carburetter mixture control scheme, together with a drawing of the complete scheme.

In order to test this on the Bentley, having 2 carburetters, we need both units. Will you please make both these units to give the characteristics as discussed when you were last at the Works.

By-Pass Thermostats.

When you were at our Works you gave us some very interesting information about these. You suggested a double bellows type which necessitated no guide at all for the valves. We should like to know if you have had any experience with this type of thermostat, and also should be very grateful if you could let us have drawings of the thermostats which you have proved to be satisfactory. This would enable us to produce a design which would work from the beginning.

If ever you come to Derby again, try to give me a day's warning so that I can keep a free night.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
