1033 Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}8/MJ. 15th. August, 1935. C. Fisher Esq., The Stromberg Carburetter Co. Ltd., Bendix Works, Tyseley, Birmingham. Dear Mr. Fisher, On August 6th. Mr. Robotham wrote to you (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/KW.) re. supplying two carburetters fitted with hand controlled chokes (starting). Mr. Robotham is now away on holiday, and I am unable to find any answer to his letter to you. Today our Mr. Dodd and myself visited your Bendix Works at Tuseley, and of course you were away. However, we are anxious to push on with our tests, and would therefore like the two carburetters in question as soon as possible. We are also anxious to get the information on the twin choke carburetter for an engine of 7 litres. Hoping to hear from you in the near future. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
