LE SMITH To Bentley Motors Ltd. Derby............ Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Levallois Sr/VA2/ET.14.10.36 Re: CHASSIS B.8.GA - TRALS CAR The clutch on this car judders rather badly and is not up to standard for demonstration work. For your information, we fitted (on the 29.5.36) a new centre plate sent specially by you as per your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RmIO/KW of 21.5.36. We think the best plan will be for you to have a new clutch sent to us, similar to the one specially prepared by you for chassis B.226.GA, Favier. We should mention that the clutch on this latter car is about perfect. If you agree to the above, we shall be glad if you will kindly arrange to have the clutch sent to us as soon as possible as we want to attend to the car fairly early next week. Sr/VA.VH | ||
