-15- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}2/KW.27.7.36. (21) Owing to the disadvantages mentioned before of our successful scheme Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}106, we tried as an alternative, and especially as a possible and simple conversion job for existing cars, a balancer lever scheme similar to exp. 13 only this time using the full adjuster mechanism of the standard scheme. This scheme is highly successful, does not judder in either direction, does not thump, is mechanically efficient, and is a simple and inexpensive addition to our existing cars. The design dept., however, objected to the position of this lever as it is in full view. (21) FRONT OF CAR | ||
