(22) Consequently we tried the result of moving the balancer weight to the position preferred by them as in sketch, where it is inconspicuous. In this position we have to use a little more weight to achieve freedom from judders but most unfortunately we do not get rid of thumps, which are one of the chief of customers' complaints. We will continue working on this scheme to see if we can get rid of thumps. (22.) <- FRONT OF CAR N.SCH.4846. (23) We have driven Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}106 scheme with axle controls black and iron drums in such a manner as to overheat the Ferodo, and we have not experienced judders. | ||
