Wind Tone Horns - 20/25 & Bentley.

We understand that the 20/25 and Bentley cars at Olympia will be fitted with the new Lucas wind tone horns. Also that it is proposed to fit these horns to production chassis in the immediate future.

We are sure that if this is done we shall run into trouble.

The history of the wind tone horns is as follows. They were fitted to 21-G-IV for a test in France and the bracket supporting them, which is an integral part of the horn, and dictates the note produced, failed after quite a short mileage. This is the only experimental car on which they have had Continental running.

They are now going to France with a modified bracket on SpectreCodename for Phantom III II and will also be run on 21-G-IV.
