To R. {Sir Henry Royce} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BY. {R.W. We have done some experimental work on A.T. speedometers and find that their reading xx varies considerably with the atmospheric temperature at which they work. We are taken the matter ya up with the makers and they have almost entirely overcome this fault. We now believe they are as reliable as any that can be obtained.
