To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to CJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X5080 E2/107.7.24. GOSHAWK lll. X.9080 CARBURETTER. X.9230 X5080 We send you herewith drawing No.Lec.1900., shewing Goshawk lll. carburetter with exhaust heated throttle. The carburetter has been pushed further from the cylinder block, and to do this, and still leave it possible to dismount the carburetter, we have modified, and at the same time improved, the design of the filter. A large amount of work remains to be done on this job to complete the alterations required for the exhaust heated throttle, and re-arranged exhaust, but we send this drawing to you to enable you to make a start on the detailing.
