Mr.H.D.Geyer,
Inland Manufacturing Division,
General Motors Corp.,
Dayton,
OHIO,
U.S.A.

Dear Mr.Geyer,

Thank you for your letter of the 31st. of Jan., the various bushes and the drawing for a new type Inlox bush.

From the drawing it appears that this new bush is an achievement of American manufacture. Will you please let us know what the cost is of these bushes for quantities of 5,000 and also the cost for the present type bushes in similar quantities.

As this new bush has been produced for Packard, we cannot understand why they do not use their torque arm spherical rubbers to replace the longer bush. We should be very interested to be told why your bush is preferable to a spherical rubber bearing.

Yours sincerely,
