The same carburetter can be supplied with an electrically controlled thermostatic strangler and with automatic starting, and the price would be approximately the same as the hand-controlled inter-connected strangler.

It is understood that I am referring to the carburetter imported from America, and dismantled over here, enamelled and plated as necessary.

With regard to my second suggestion that we import only the body and various parts from America, and make the others ourselves, the price would come out about 4/- more, i.e. 99/- with either inter-connected hand control or electric thermostat.

At the moment the AAV-2 carburetter can only be furnished from America with 1-⅛" or 1-3/16" venturi, but they would make other sizes on demand, provided we could order a reasonable quantity.

I also think that when we get going on this job, we shall be able to improve on the above price by about 10%.

With regard to using the AAV-2 carburetter on the PHANTOM III, seeing that America do not make this type carburetter in 42, I am trying to see if it is possible to use the same AAV-2 body with a 42 throttle barrel, so that the
