Leaking petrol tanks on 3½ and 4¼ litre Bentley models due to rivet issues.

Hancock - Head Chateauroux}5/M.5.2.37. Bentley Petrol Tank. There have been several cases lately with 3½ and 4¼ litre Bentley Petrol Tanks leaking from the rivets on the underside. These rivets hold the baffle plates at either end. In the cases that have come in, it would appear to be rather the design that is at fault than otherwise. The two rear rivets are the worst offenders. These are found loose. The front are found with the solder cracked right round.
