-2- Sft.{Mr Swift}4/B.7.5.31. There are 29 Phantom II 'M' Series type chassis on test and we should have to build the 1st 50 on 'N2' series, which whilst different to 'M' series, differ in engine external appearance considerably from the 51st. on 'N'. Consequently, there would be about 80 chassis to dispose of (excluding stock chassis at Coachbuilders) before the Show type of chassis would come into production. The thought now arises, would it be advisable under the circumstances to bring in the new type at the 1st on 'N' Series? The points against this are that a lot of work has been done on the pieces that would be scrapped by the introduction of the new type on the 1st on 'N'. The amount of money involved would be approximately £1968. which would be made up in the main by crankcases which would be scrap. Sft.{Mr Swift} | ||
