SHOW CHASSIS.
-----------

As the instructions stand at the moment we are to make 18 Show Cars 'N' series type. These will in the ordinary nature of things be the first 18 in 'N2' Series.

It is necessary to point out, especially as these are Show Chassis, that there are a number of important improvements in design being introduced at the 51st chassis on 'N' Series; consequently the 51st on 'N' will differ from the 1st on 'N' in the following features.

Top Half Crankcase is entirely different - includes modifications to enable Auto Klean Filter to be fitted, also to accommodate alterations to the Oil Pipes and slightly altered position of the Relief Valve Casing.

The Bottom Half is also slightly modified in connection with same schemes.

New Air Silencer is fitted to the Carburetter similar to that being fitted to the L.H.

Auto Klean Filter is also introduced on the 51st chassis and stands in a very prominent position under the bonnet attached to one of the special pads on the Top Half Crankcase as mentioned above.

Modification of the Oil Pipes - this is very obvious when the two chassis are compared. Also a modification to the Oil Relief Valve Casing.

In addition there will be two further differences which are introduced at the 26th chassis on 'N' and consequently will be embodied in the 51st Chassis:-
1. New crankshaft - i.e. thicker flange.
2. Clutch driving piece modified to suit above crankshaft.

In case Sales were to decide that these Show Chassis ought to be of the 51st on 'N' type, it should be pointed out that there are some difficulties against this as follows.
