The writer has received a personal letter from the Secretary of the Co. manufacturing this joint, asking how we are getting on with the tests etc, and so, if there is any information which we could give them up to the present we should very much like to know, as these people have offered us the design of this joint free of all patent royalties of any kind, and although we probably shall not adopt this scheme as made by them, in redesigning it for our own use we may find that we have incorporated one or some of their patents, although at present we do not know what these consists of. In view of the foregoing we would like to be able to say something if you can give us some useful information. AJS. | ||
