This is to confirm that we handed to you yesterday a piece of round bar of this material for physical and chemical tests, to determine whether or not it is up to the standard of that obtained from our usual suppliers.

If this is satisfactory, Borg & Beck propose to use it for the eyebolts of the clutches they make for us. We should like you to treat the matter as urgent.
