Firestone Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Brentford,
MIDDLESEX.

For the attention of Mr. Maylin.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 7th. We are looking forward to examining the flat plate type engine mountings and I should be grateful if you could let me have a list of the approximate cost of each unit.

We shall be very interested to hear from you what you can do in the way of a smaller buffer.

We have been testing the larger Humber buffer and so far it has been satisfactory. Will you please confirm that you can supply this buffer to us for production immediately and that the price for 400 would be 8½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} each.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
