To: Mr. Hadin + Mr. Barrington Order No. Customer's No.: 4200 Re: N6 / B41012 I deal with the items of the Meeting, my reply is the above note in the order in which they are named :- CHASSIS WEIGHT The reduction of weight in the engine is receiving attention. The recommendation I have made to Mr. Royce of which he approves, gives us plenty of ground to 'funk' on a certain saving. I have already been offered & consider that careful watching of the various castings, etc received from outside makers is not wanted as it has been my experience that the delivery is usually increased in weight appreciably on the sample submitted. I propose that we should pay once per item the weight of one or two engines the substitution of other parts which are NOTES ON CARS. C/E Dept. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
