802 also 402 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}9.6.38. B.III AND B.50. We do not want to fit fully floating axles on any more of these cars if semi-floating ones will be ready in time. We should therefore like 8.B.V. to have a semi-floating axle when it is built, if this is possible. We believe this will mean it will not be necessary for you to make hubs and various other parts to suit wire wheels. We will obtain wheels to PD.187 in time for this car.
