BENTLEY 50. SEMI-FLOATING REAR AXLE.
GBY (handwritten)

Since issuing FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}90 information has come into our possession which indicates that the flange of the half shaft to which the brake drum and wheel is bolted may require stiffening, and we propose to take out the lightening recess shewn in the flange centre. This will also save what we believe has become a machining operation, though it was not so intended in the first case.

We have modified FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}90 and FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}125 and now reissue them, and should like the original prints scrapped. Shafts already made can be used, but should be replaced by the new shafts as soon as they are available.
