W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Limited,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

You will be pleased to hear that we are making more progress with the AC Bearing.

In January we delivered 182 Main Top Halves to A.E.C., 6 Big End Bushes to Listers, 13 pairs Mains & Big Ends to Morris Commercial, 12 pairs Big Ends to Perkins Diesel, 8 Bushes to E.R.A., 114 Bushes to H.D.A., 3 Big End Bushes to Bristol, and 52 Small Bushes to Bristol, 50 pairs Mains & Big Ends to Birmingham & Midland Omnibus Co., 15 pairs Mains to Saurer, 16 pairs Big Ends to Leylands and 300 pairs Big Ends to Leylands for the Central Sprayer.

A lot of these bearings are, unfortunately, sample sets, but we are now getting down to the position where we can get out sample sets quite quickly, and I believe quite satisfactorily.

I am laying in a further plant to double this output and handle the job from a production basis, and I am hoping, by the end of March, to have this other plant installed.

Yours sincerely,
J.W. Howlett
