To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} x354 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.13/KW.11.11.35. Stiffened Eccentric Arm for Ph.III Tappets. In view of the type of fracture experienced during the 10,000 miles test, we do not think that the strengthening shown on LeC.4792 is adequate. The cross sectional area along the fracture has only been increased some 10%. We think that the profile should be built up more in the neighbourhood of the ends of the fracture, particularly, if possible, at the lug end. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth. | ||
