Latest pattern, special precautions to be taken to avoid leakage of water, wind noises and rattles. Luggage Boot. To have capacity as drawn on PD.206 with no plywood inner casings, so that golf clubs may be carried. Rear lid{A. J. Lidsey} of cantilever type to carry luggage on occasions, but every effort to be made to reduce the weight of the lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Central handle operating boot locks. Luggage space to be dust-proof and water-proof when closed. Front Seat. Cushion and squab to dimensions given. Anatomical bucket seats with shaped back to increase knee room to rear passenger. Base of seat to be as high as drawn on PD. 277 to give toe room to rear passenger. Rear Seats. Cushion and squab to dimensions given. Care to be taken to get support at back of rear cushion. Folding central armrest and fixed side armrests. Ventilation. Top scuttle ventilator of the sealed type and without tray. Mead McLean ventilators to front doors with built in fixings. Ventilator to be ½" back at front edge to avoid wind noise. Screen Wiper & Screen Rail. Dual Lucas. Every effort to be made to keep the base of the screen low to enhance visibility. Ducts to be provided for defroster. Recessed map reading lamp. Instrument Board.
