Dear Sir, We would confirm our telegram sent you this morning, reading as under : "DERBY INSTRUCTS THREE MONTHS' LICENCE TO BE TAKEN OUT FOR MR. ROYCE'S TWENTY HP CAR SEND US ALL PAPERS INCLUDING LAISSEZ-PASSER BY EXPRES MAIL REGISTERED VERY URGENT." As you know, the laissez-passer taken out for this car when it came to France expires on the 14th inst., and as we only received a letter from Mr. Hives this morning, we had to telegraph you, so that you might be able to send us all the papers by return of post, which would enable us to do the necessary with the local authorities to obtain the licence in time, having only three days more before us. We trust you will be able to send us all the papers without any delay. Thanking you in advance, we remain, dear Sir, Yours faithfully. | ||
