Reported vapour lock issue on a Bentley chassis and recommending specific spark plugs.

Re the above memo. enclosing copy of letter received from A.H.R. Fedden, Esq.

In para. 2, Mr. Fedden suggests that he has experienced vapour lock on his Bentley car B-189-AE, and at the same time states that there is nothing wrong with the pump or the system. Under the circumstances we do not think his trouble is vapour lock, as the immediate sign of this trouble is the speeding up and clattering of the pump due to the fact that it is only sucking and delivering vapour.

Actually we have not had one complaint of vapour lock in this country on the Bentley cars.

With regard to sparking plugs, the type we recommend for use in Austria is K.L.G. 850.
