R-w. Copy for files 34 boe. Car is surprisingly good after 10,000 miles. Ride & control appear to be unchanged. Steering: joggles: creak from column dashboard support: controls rattle (should be improved by damping tube inside main tube) Engine Period. a rattle when clutch pedal depressed some smoke after running light but not as bad as I feared. after mileage run. Clutch: fairly good & stops O.K. Gear box: good for silence indirect gears & side shaft. Synchro mesh works but not so good as 35 boe. Chunking is not as marked as expected certainly no worse than when originally turned out | ||
