re. 20-HP. Exhaust Vibration.

This is a fault about which we have complained on several occasions and still exists on our 20-HP cars.

We were agreeably surprised when trying a chassis the other day on which Mr. Warwick had fixed a special sliding exhaust joint and special bracket to the silencer to note the distinct advantage and entire absence of the exhaust vibration trouble which was particularly bad on this chassis.

We could not find any disadvantage as far as our tests were concerned, and very strongly recommend that you should standardise as quickly as ever possible this scheme as soon as you are satisfied that tests are satisfactory in this respect.
