Lake & Elliott have recently introduced a modified form of attachment for Brake Shoes, in which the lining is held in position by only three rivets, so arranged that there is no pressure behind these Rivets so they never come in contact with the face of the Brake Shoe.

Mr. Lake will probably be in Derby on Friday, when he proposes calling and bringing with him one of the actual Shoes.
