c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY9/N.7.10.30. Re: Instruments. Referring to Roy{Sir Henry Royce}2/MG.6.10.30, the duplex instrument submitted i.e. with two registrations on one dial, one for water temperature, and one for oil pressure does not interest us. It is far too involved and difficult to read to be satisfactory for its proposed use. I have shewn the instrument to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} who concurs to the above. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Sample returned to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} [Handwritten annotations: At the top, 'Roy{Sir Henry Royce}' is crossed out. Above this is written '42' (circled), '7/10 30' and 'x728.'. A signature for 'BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}' is present.] | ||
