It is still somewhat doubtful as to what 'V' series ought to be. The doubtful part is the dash, bonnet, radiator, and steering. If it is necessary, because of the more vigorous engine, to fit a steel detachable underframe to build the body upon it, it is necessary to have this wider dash. This can be done on 'V' series but if it is thought desirable part of 'V' series can be like the conversion chassis, and part the improved 'V' chassis - i.e. using EAC. dash, bonnet, and radiator, and steering.

The improved 'V' chassis is the model that we can produce most quickly because I believe the Works possess the whole material for this combination as well as the last item of the design. The only point of doubt is the wiring. Naturally if there were no [underlined: coachbuilders considerations and stock], this is what I should recommend. Possibly the body question could be surmounted by alterations to scuttle only. This car should have the more imposing appearance and could be used to represent, (with the exception of the starter) the EAC. 2. final chassis.

In conclusion, I am leaving it to you and the Works to decide which model shall be adopted. There should be no difficulty about the 'W' series in any case. One would naturally think it would be better to use the material already in hand for the 100 EAC. 2s., or they could be exactly as 'V' with sequence starter.
