Locking nuts of Frame Fittings by means of grover washers in place of rivetting. Origin. To avoid rivetting. Drawing No. 3440 Part List. Experimental Test Report. We agree that the grover washer will make a better job than riveting. In the case of the bolts fixing the axle tubes to the casing - if these are undone there is nothing to prevent the bolt falling into the axle casing. Road Test Report. Adopted by Springfield.
