| - 2 - 5. Exhaust Nozzle. ************ All cars before they leave Works must be fitted with new pressed steel exhaust nozzle with outlet approx. 9" wide to piece No. E.73169. 6. Pedals. ********* A modified scheme of bushed and stiffened pedals and tubes is being produced. These must be fitted before cars leave Works. Part List & Arrgt. - F.72861 - B.Type. F.72862 - C & D Type. 7. Exhaust Fittings modifications. ******************************** a/- Exhaust Cutout. All cars must be fitted with new Cutout outlet and before cars leave Works. Piece nos. E.73301/2/3/4/5/6/7/8. b/- This involves the fitting of the oil filler on axle on opposite side of centre line of axle, on "offside" instead of "nearside". Ltr. G.7089. 8. Steering Box. *************** The new type of rocking shaft with flanged rocking levers bolted to flange on rocking shaft is required, and must be fitted before cars leave Works, or at Coachbuilders. Part List & Arrgt. F.72963. No sets to be ordered to this list only. 9. Ignition Wiring Tube. ************************* The 40/50 type of tube made up of a steel tube insulated inside by paper and on outside by vulcanite is required, the steel tube itself being directly earthed to engine. These may be fitted at Coachbuilders. Piece Nos. E.73197/8/9/200. 10. Exhaust Choke Valve. *********************** The modified scheme for this must be fitted before cars leave Works.
