CJ. BJ. WCF. Ba. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} He. Tr.{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance} & Ey.

The attached list therefore when taken in conjunction with instructions already issued to which cars are being built, fully defines "V" Series as agreed to, and no further modifications may be incorporated unless WCF. He. & Ey. agree they are vital, and CJ's agreement obtained.

1. Controls between Dashboard & Inst. Board.
****************************************
Have been completely redesigned. The new scheme will be issued under Part List & Arrgt. Drg.E.72652 L.H. (Sheet 6.)

2. Front Engine Bearers.

A new scheme using a very much thicker tube in Nickel Steel with brackets pinned and sweated to same. (Not brazed) will be issued under Drg. E.72293.

3. Starter Gear on Gear Box.
**************************
This as issued is correct but parts are not ready. It will mean changing parts on cars before they are despatched from works. Part List & Arrgt. No. G.73417. (Sec.S:8C) G.73474. (Sec.S:8C). G.73419. (Sec.S:8C) G.73420. (Sec.S:8C) G.72862. (Sec.S:8C).

4. Valves.
********
All valves so far fitted to engines will have to be replaced as there is a fault in same, from the point of view of structure, due to heat treatment. All valves must be changed before cars leave works.
