K1104 Exptl. Dept. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW. 18th October, 1935. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Railton, Esq., Messrs. Thomson & Taylor (Brooklands) Ltd., Byfleet, Surrey. Dear Railton, Thank you for your letter of October 12th and for the drawing of the curious contrivance about which I asked you. On the face of it I think your opinion of it is the right one: we are trying it out. I shall be at Olympia on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, but at the moment my prospects of having a quiet meal without being surrounded with people seem somewhat remote. If you happen to be in the Show, we might meet for a dish of tea on Tuesday. You must come up to Derby and have a look at us before long. Yours sincerely, | ||
