FIXING OF THE BUFFER FLANGE OF CENTRE MOUNTED RADIATOR. A lot of unnecessary time is being spent in the Test Dept. removing radiators, as the buffer flange F.82204 more often than not becomes loosewhen the cup F.82207 is removed. This is because the diameter thread in the cup is nearly double that of the thread retaining the buffer flange in the radiator cross-member. It is therefore necessary that a modification be carried out to prevent this occurring. We suggest two dowels through the cross-member and buffer flanges. The modifications should be carried out at the earliest opportunity. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/I.A.Leslie. | ||
