BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7230 dAZ/M28.3.29. 'SS{S. Smith}' EXHAUST SYSTEM CUTOUT OPERATION ETC. X.7230 X.7490 Herewith are N.schs. 2666/7, showing the adaptation of the cutout, silencer suspension, heat shield, etc. to the tubular members. We suggest that the 3" dia. member instead of being 18" from the 2 1/4" one, should be 17 1/2" which means simply shortening the tubular part without affecting anything else. We have also modified the set of the 3" member in the centre. With these drgs. we think we have completely instructed SS.{S. Smith} for production. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
