Dear Sirs,

CARBURETTER DC-42

In reference to your letter of the 12th inst., we have already written you in respect to the suggested modification to the float chamber lids and to the details of the revised idle system. For this please see our letter TLT/GD of the 17th instant.

As regards the damaged choke butterfly plates, we note your remarks and are preparing a scheme which allows of the butterfly valve being forced open when a blow-back occurs, whilst at the same time operating in the normal way for starting.

This suggestion, of course, will entail modification to the choke levers, and will involve some additional expense, but we do not see how the requirement can be met without making some appreciable modification on the part of the inlet side of the carburetter, since we understand
