Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}

Items in Whr{Mr Wheeler}2/D20.1.30. were considered.

(a) Body Subframe not to be supplied.

After discussion it was agreed, to gain experience, we build the two experimental chassis with sub-frames. Whether the standard production chassis are to be fitted with sub-frames will be decided at a later date.

(b) Exhaust cut-out not to be supplied.

No discussion necessary.

(c) Steering to be left-handed with necessary consequential modifications, including gearbox and brake levers.

OY. mentioned the question of clearance on the hand levers, etc. and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} is giving this matter his attention.

(d) Carburetter to be exhaust-heated.

There is no difficulty about this, because it is now a standard fitting on our own production chassis.

(e) Wheels to be of the flat base type to take 19" x 7" tyres.

By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} already ordered.

(f) Tyres 19" x 7" to fit above wheels.

By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} already ordered.

Contd......
