"For the attention of Commdr. Matravers.

Dear Sirs,

We are sending to you today one drop arm (EX.9913). This is to have the big end of the lever machined and splined to suit the steering gear which you have prepared for us.

We understand that the steering gear itself is completed; if this is correct, we should be glad if you will send it along as the chassis is waiting for it and we can be getting along with the fitting of it whilst waiting for the drop arm.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
