Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
Paul St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Works,
Wolverhampton.

For the attention of Mr. Southall.

Dear Sirs,

We have received your letter of April 29th, for which we thank you. We would point out that the three curves mentioned in our last letter to you were the three curves on the single sheet sent you, i.e. referring to cores with .020", .040" and .060" air gaps respectively.

We note from the sheets included in your letter that your Mark VI matrix has still not obtained the standard of efficiency of the Harrison core, particularly at low speeds.

We should very much like you to give us some indication of when you will be ready to supply us with Mark VI cores. An early reply to this will be appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
