DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

Your Reference - Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.16/KW.

Mr. Southall has requested me to answer your letter of the 29th May, as he has had to go away on business.

We are putting the 58 mm. Mark VI in hand and will make every effort to deliver it at the earliest possible date. This core will be made with the existing tools so that it will not necessarily be identical with the production type of Mark VI.

The Mark VI machine is due to arrive during the next few days, but the most suitable tool designed has not been finally settled.

Yours faithfully,

for JOHN MARSTON LIMITED.

P.P. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} L. Coltman.
