Contd. 2. X. 762 understood that the shock dampers fitted had a certain amount of free range without any damping effect, than a range with half damping effect, and then full damping at the greatest range. I should be glad to know if this is so. I would like, you, if possible, to criticise them compared with our standard type, to see whether the feature of the small free movement is as advantageous as it appears to be in theory.
