PRIVATE S/W. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Py/Blb. 81775. Py/Blb.10/PH.12.1.33. MR. TWEEDIE. Will you please suggest a convenient day next week for Mr. Tweedie's visit. He informs me that any day but Friday would suit him. I understand the position with regard to ordering the two-stroke unit rests with the A.R.C. who, I am informed, do not regard our proposals very favourably. Moreover, I have heard that Bulman, Pye and Tweedie have not given us much support in the matter. It looks, therefore, as though the odds were very much against our getting a contract. Py/Blb.
