To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X3805 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 2/MJ.3.12.30. CENTRAL LUBRICATION 25 HP.18-G4. We have already had a failure of the coil tubing supplying the rear axle which is located at the front end of the N.S. rear spring. This had broken at a sharp right angle bend when the coil is led on to the spring. It would appear that this coil is coiled the wrong way and should be coiled anti-clockwise so that it comes straight from the coil on to the spring without a bend having to be made.
